The focus of this workshop is on innovation and its impact on growth and employment in Europe. New evidence - based on European Innovation Surveys and R&D data - will be provided on the dynamics of innovation, the effects on productivity, jobs and wages, and on the relevance of innovation policies in Italy and Europe. The roundtable discussion will consider the policy lessons that can be drawn for Italy and Europe. The workshop is addressed to scholars, policy makers and students.
